Collection Specialist (German Speaker)

Our client is a global industrial technology leader delivering productivity to customers through materials science, tooling, and wear-resistant solutions. They are currently growing their international team in Barcelona.

Your responsibilities and impact working as a Collection Specialist will be:

• Communicating and responding to inquiries from customers, other departments, and Management
• Ensuring an effective dispute management process by filling the dispute with high quality and by performing a timely communication of the resolution to the customer
• Admin support by processing mail/customer correspondence, handling telephone requests, assisting in preparing reports on the status of customer accounts
• Assuring that cash collection activities are performed daily, helped by collection tool
• Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity
• Performing account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner, coordinating with different teams to guarantee accurate customer payment matching

Skills, experiences, and interests you need to succeed in this role:

• You have a C1/C2 level in German and you are fluent in English
• You have Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, or similar
• You have one year of experience in a Shared Services Center or office role
• You have great communication and people skills
• You are a problem solver
• You are able to work within an international environment
