Job Description
The Senior Trainer will work closely with Team Managers, HR, People Excellence, and the assigned Academy Manager to ensure the professional development of Game Presenters throughout their entire employment journey. This will be based on specific team needs, individual requirements, business needs, and individual progression in the role.
The Senior Trainer will report to the Academy Manager.
As a Senior Trainer, you will be expected to:
Support the development of a network of high performers, mentors, and support functions to drive quality improvements and learning and teaching initiatives
Proactively create, manage, and maintain the training/development plans according to business needs, aligned with the expectations of the employee experience
Provide input to Evolution Academy vision, mission, values, goals and direction
Foster a safe, secure, inclusive, and comfortable work environment and culture for Evolution Employees
Support Evolution Academy teams continuous performance improvement by working towards high quality standards, providing ongoing feedback and being role model for less experienced colleagues and stakeholders.
Champion exemplary learning and teaching practices and the implementation of the Universal Design for Learning
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver onboarding for new Trainers.
Work closely with Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition, and HR to ensure smooth onboarding processes and a holistic approach to the two-week induction phase
Identify, prioritize, manage, communicate (and execute when necessary) Evolution Academy Projects
Initiate and coordinate the development of systems, techniques, and tools that help achieve company goals more efficiently
Ensure continuous and properly organized communication flow within the Evolution Academy team and other Evolution teams
Support the Academy Manager in developing and maintaining internal documentation (manuals, procedures, regulations, etc.) for Evolution Academy in compliance with general company policies and supporting business needs
Assist the Academy Manager with gathering and analyzing data
Communicate and collaborate with other departments on common projects and change implementation
Plan and coordinate efficient workload distribution (scheduling assignments) for Trainers in compliance with labor law and business needs (including re-training and additional Game Knowledge)
Ensure that all projects, communication, and scheduling are aligned with Universal Design for Learning and with the plans and guidelines provided by Management and the Trainer assigned to learning support
Manage the Academy Team in the absence of the Academy Manager
Facilitate People Excellence workshops when required
Commit to facilitating newcomer training once every 6 weeks and as needed
Perform other duties, as agreed with the direct Manager, which are related to this position and business needs
Qualifications
Requirements * Previous working experience in either Education, Helping professions, Coaching or any other related field, as well as Management
Excellent command of English
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Capable of working productively with a high level of tact, diplomacy and flexibility
Ability to work independently but also within a collaborative team environment
Proven track record in building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Proactive and keen to drive change with demonstrable capacity to operate in a rapidly changing environment, while providing stability for teams and colleagues
Goal-oriented with a proven track record of achieving results within agreed timeframes
Conflict resolution skills and a solution-oriented approach
Knowledge about how to facilitate, receive and apply feedback
