Offer Description
The Basque Centre for Climate Change is a host institution of the Ikertalent 2024 program - Grants for supporting research and technical staff in the scientific-technological and business fields in the agricultural, fisheries and food sectors. It offers two PhD to be carried out in a multidisciplinary and international research team. The doctoral fellowship aims to promote the training of researchers and technical staff by incorporating and participating in R+D+i projects to be carried out in scientific-technological areas, markets and business organisations in the agricultural, fishing and food of the Basque Country.

What do we offer:
BC3 offers two pre-doctoral positions to work: ” The main objective of the project is to assess the impacts of various climate-smart forestry practices on multiple environmental priorities. This PhD would be directed by Phil Martin and Jorge Curiel, both BC3 researchers The main objective of the project is to analyse the environmental, nutritional and socio-economic impact of the different transitions in the agri-food system in the Basque Country. This PhD would be directed by Iñaki Arto and Agustin del Prado, both BC3 researchers
