Job Description

• Build the payroll function for Madrid in-house.
• Participate in all payroll related communication, calculations and payments.
• Manage all necessary payroll data uploads and other procedures in company's payroll systems.
• Keep track of wages, deductions, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.

• Follow up that tax payments and salary payments to employees are done within stipulated deadlines.
• Ensuring that procedures of the Company are followed and complied with;
• Ensuring that taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with the tax legislation of Spain.
• Preparing reports for management, accounting and auditing purposes.
• Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters.

Qualifications

• At least 5 year of experience in payroll, preferably leading the payroll function.
• University diploma in Graduado Social, Diplomatura en Relaciones Laborales or Grado en Ciencias del Trabajo y Recursos Humanos.
• Advanced knowledge in Labour laws and local tax.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Advance knowledge of payroll software suites.
• Good computer skills (MS office).
• Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment.
• Team Player.
