Software & Ground Solution product manager

Location: Madrid Tres Cantos, Spain

The Software Product Ownership manages the SW & ground product portfolio of the company in order to maximize added value internally and for the customers.
He/She coordinates with the technical team, the marketing team and the customers

Position Summary – Key responsabilities and principle tasks

He/she is responsible for the product policy and its development throughout the entire life cycle for Software & Ground product line (On-board and ground Software and EGSEs);
he/she analyses the world market, customer needs and trends, competition (strategy, products, competitiveness) from marketing data and business intelligence;
he/she offers the best response to market expectations, strategic directives, technical capabilities and funding capacity by elaborating and maintaining the Product Plan;
he/she guarantees the Product suitability to customer expectations and profitability goals
he/she prepares and presents his Products Plans and the Decision Reviews then manage the resulting action plan;
he/she supports the bid managers in the tender building and in the commercial Gates preparation, validates the tender compliance to Products Policy and identifies the possible gaps;
the PM works closely with the Product line Design Authority and the Project Manager in charge of Product development. He/She writes the user specification, participates to progress meetings and certifies the Product acceptance for internal developments;
he/she coordinates the development and validate the sales kit. He/She supports the marketing, business development and commercial teams for the Product promotion and marketing activities. He/She performs the product presentation to the customers.
He/she coordinates with the internal departments and TAS product policy actors. Leads, motivates and encourages all internal actors to contribute to TAS-E product policy.
Education & Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or other similar Technical discipline. Advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be a plus.

Skills and ideal experience
Three (3) or more years of experience in product / project management.
Five (5) or more years of experience in customer relationship.
Experience in specifications
Experience in software development.
Knowledge of telecommunication network solutions
Knowledge of embedded software solutions
Knowledge of ground support equipment solutions.
Languages: English, Spanish essential and French a plus.
Education & Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or other similar Technical discipline. Advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience would be a plus.
