What you will do:
The Transfer Pricing Lead Consultant will will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Transfer Pricing legislation at EDP Group level. This includes, among others, the validation, from a transfer pricing perspective, of intra-group transactions worldwide, the definition of policies, preparation of transfer pricing documentation in +20 geographies located in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC, etc. This position will also work as EDPs representative before tax authorities in negotiations regarding transfer pricing matters, such as Mutual Agreement Procedures or Advance Pricing Agreements.
· Main accountabilities:
· Lead the transfer pricing function at EDP;
· Define, manage and oversee execution of global transfer pricing policies, as well as define the transfer prices related to the various intra-group transactions in all geographies;
· Secure preparation of transfer pricing documentation in-house, ensuring they meet local requirements in +20 geographies located in Europe, North America, LATAM and APAC. This includes management of an internal team and of external providers where required;
· Continuously reviewing intra-group transaction, securing its transversal consistency and alignment with the information provided in the transfer pricing documentation;
· Provide strategic guidance and support on local transfer pricing audits and coordinate relations with tax auditors, when necessary;
· Secure and verify the calculation of EDP Groups management fee, including all the different management fees charged through the chain down to project companies. Lead initiatives to automatise the calculation of management fees where possible. Explore alternative calculation methodologies to secure alignment with best market practices and secure their implementation, managing the relationship with tax advisors where required.
· Conduct and coordinate transfer-pricing-related procedures, like Mutual Agreement Procedures and/or Advance Pricing Agreements. This includes representing the company before tax authorities where required, directly negotiating with them on behalf of the company;
· Work closely with business units and other functional groups (Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, etc.) to keep abreast of new business activities and address resulting opportunities, risks and tax consequences, providing transfer pricing support/advice whenever necessary;
· Analyse the impact at Group level of major transfer pricing legislative developments (BEPS, court cases, etc.);
· Develop specific transfer pricing projects to reduce the tax risks of the Group (i.e. financial transactions, development services, etc.);
· Continuously develop and update of transfer pricing policies according to business, tax and regulatory rules applicable at each time;
· Plan and conduct research in connection with the above responsibilities;
· Address transfer pricing implications derived from restructuring activities;
· Other duties as required.

What are we looking for:
· BSc in Law or Economics.
· Post-graduate studies focused on International Taxation.
· Between 6 and 8 years of relevant experience in the Transfer Pricing practice gained, preferably, in Big Four firm, reputable law firm or in-house tax analyst of multinational company.
· Good knowledge of the Spanish tax System, European Tax Law and international Tax.
· Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the Transfer Pricing practice.
· Able to translate technical tax issues into practical business solutions.
· Finance skills or finance savvy.
· Accounting skills or accounting savvy.
· Proficiency level of English.
· Other languages are a plus.
· Hands-on, open, creative and pro-active mentality and keen to work in a team.
